Brewers Quay, located in a former Victorian brewery in the old harbour of Weymouth and in the historic Hope Square, has shops, craft stores, restaurants and attractions.
The Timewalk and Brewery Days lets visitors follow in the footsteps of Paws, the brewery cat, to experience the history of Weymouth and Portland. Starting in the 14th Century, the tour shows visitors the Black Death, the looting of a Spanish Galleon and the English Civil War. At the end of the Timewalk tour, visitors can stop at the tastings bar to sample ales brewed by the on-site Quay Brewery, and learn about the history of brewing in Hope Square.
The Weymouth Museum is also located in Brewers Quay, and admission is free.
Discovery can be found on the upper level, an interactive Science Center with over 60 different exhibits.
The shops in Brewers Quay include toys, craft gifts, local art, collectables and confectionery. If you are looking for specialist gifts, Brewers Quay is a great place to start.
There is a delicatessen, bar, restaurant and cafe on site.
